Medical Benefits of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin Dry Syrup

Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin Dry Syrup are majorly used in the treatment of dry cough. The medicine is composed of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin whose combination effect is highly effective in providing relief from dry cough. Ambroxol belongs to the class of mucolytic agents (cough/sputum thinner) that work by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Thereby, helping to expel the phlegm easily.

Levosalbutamol belongs to the class of bronchodilators, that provide relief by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that works by increasing the volume of fluid in the airways. It also reduces the stickiness of mucus and helps it remove from the airways. This way the combined effect of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin Dry Syrup works to treat the dry cough.
